BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRIT

This mountain you face is not a test of your strength. This is about your confidence in Me. What do you think about Me now, when you face trials of various kinds? This is about your strength being increased in Me. It is really not a test of your own strength, because I know you are just dust, you are just dust. I’m building your confidence in Me when you cannot see. Take that leap of faith, step out on the water. I will never leave you or forsake you.

Why are you trying so hard to be strong My little one, My dove? I never asked for your strength. This isn’t something I require. Do you want to earn My love? Is this why you are trying so hard to be strong? You know there is no earning with Me. You know I am in love with you. Is it so that you can still be in control? You know you have to let it go. You can’t keep things from getting messy. I am strong enough to carry you through anything; you do not need to be afraid.

Or are you just longing to show Me how much you love me? Is this why you are still offering up your own strength to Me? You want to show Me that you will endure hardships like a good soldier, that you will keep the word of My patient endurance, and that you will fellowship with Me in my sufferings. My eyes search for one like this! They search, but oh My dove, My perfect one, where did you go wrong? It’s not in your own strength that you are to do these things to show Me your love; it’s in your clinging, your leaning, and your stepping out onto the water. It’s in how you call My name if you start to sink when you see the violence of the waves. I’ve not asked for your strength! It is I who come leaping upon the mountains. Am I not in you and you in Me? Have I not placed you under My wing? My Right arm is strong, so very strong, but you must LET Me embrace you with it. Let go of your own strength. This is not the offering I desire.

“But oh God, then what can a poor empty handed one do to prove their love? You’ve proven Your love to me by dying! How do I show You that I would do anything for You if my strength isn’t what You want? I have nothing else.”

Do you love Me enough to live in your weakness? Will you walk forward blindly? Are you willing to fail? Do you have the courage to be messy and let Me pull you together? Can you crumble at My feet? I don’t want your strength. I want your weakness. Give Me your love….Oh you who dwell in the gardens with your companions listening for your voice…let me hear it! You’ve been trying to prove you’ll embrace the cross by charging towards it, but right now, I just want you to sit in My shade. You don’t like the mess of your human weakness, My dove, My lovely one, so you convince yourself that it’s noble, that it’s patient endurance to hold in the pain, when I said, “in the secret place of the steep pathway, let Me see your face, let Me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet and your face is lovely”. Your weaknesses may have been rejected by all the others, your strengths demanded, but you know I am not like all the others. What is despised by men I treasure…in your weakest moments, your voice is sweet and your face is lovely! Give me what is Mine, I want it all My dove, My beautiful one. Let me enjoy you however I desire to, even if it is a mystery to you now.
