PRAY:

Brinley is having surgery tomorrow to remove her central line. Pray for an uncomplicated procedure.

Pray for Noah; there is a possibility of eye surgery, with not good side effects. Please pray for healing of his eyes!

Erica has a doctor appointment coming up on Tuesday with her high risk doctors...please pray for a much better report, and for more support from them.

Avery had surgery today and she is doing ok; please pray as she continues to recover from this.

Pray for Camryn, as she began chemo today.

This is little Avery. She was diagnosed prenatally with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) as well as a heart defect known as Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). She was born on May 12th. Please add her to your list as she has a long road ahead of her! Stop by and leave some encouragement.

Keep praying for Brinley; she is doing a bit better, but still needs lots of improvement.

Pray for Gaines and his little lungs. His oxygen had to go up a bit, due to suspected fluid on his lungs.

Ashley will be having a new central line put in on Monday morning. Let's start praying now that the procedure goes well!

Brinley was admitted to the hospital today with an extremely high fever. Please pray for her! Post a comment for her momma, too, she is worried for her little girl.

"B" is now 41 weeks pregnant with little April. Please pray for her during this time, as her delivery quickly approaches, and that April's heart rate will remain steady.

Charity had surgery today on her trachea; no update yet, keep her in your prayers.

PRAISE:

Dakota had surgery today and everything went great! Keep praying that things go well so she can go home soon.

Camryn's radiation treatments are going well! Pray for it to continue this way.

Bentley has been discharged! Pray that her follow up goes well on Friday so they can go home.

Please pray for Gabe. He was born with an immune deficiency, called Severe Combined Immune Deficiency (SCID); (Bubble Boy Syndrome). Please add him to your prayers, and stop by and leave some encouragement.

Ashley continues to struggle with her infection; please pray for her and for her family.

Keep praying for Gaines, that his lungs would begin to improve.

Bentley is still doing well; she has a slight fever, pray that it is nothing and resolves quickly!

Ashley is a very sick little girl; she is having a biopsy on her bowel tomorrow TODAY to see what is going on and what they need to do to help her. Please pray for a good report!

Beckham is in the hospital; he is not doing well, and they found out he has a disease called Hemolytic Anemia. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Denise will be having a 12 hour surgery TOMORROW TODAY on her brain. Please pray for safety and success!!!!

Sweet Ella went to be with Jesus yesterday morning. When I checked this blog just now, I was totally shocked and it brought me to tears. Please pray for this family.

Baby KJ had hernia surgery this morning. No update yet...please pray that everything went well! **Surgery went well; baby KJ is in a lot of pain**

Please pray for Camryn; she is going to be admitted either tomorrow or Monday to start treatment. Pray for them through this journey. **Due to a cold, Camryn is being admitted Monday and radiation will begin Tuesday**

Ava was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, and some other issues. She is also having some seizures. Pray for this little girl and her family!

James' mom is asking for prayer for medicine time with her son; pray for peace and calmness for both of them.

Charity will be having a major surgery on her trachea sometime next week; let's begin praying for her right now.

Bentley's surgery was a success!! Please continue to pray for her during this recovery time.

Reagan will be starting a new type of therapy; pray that it will be helpful for her.

NEW REQUEST:

This is Dakota. She is a 3 year old little girl who was born at 25 weeks. She spent 225 days in the NICU and has been very sick for most of her life. Dakota is having a tough time right now. She's been in the hospital for over a month fighting infection after infection with some fungus thrown in there as well. Her previous hospital stay she was taken off her G-tube feeds and was put on TPN. Please check her blog, and leave her family an encouraging comment, some love, and some prayers.

Please keep praying for Ashley as she continues to have a very difficult time in the hospital.

Kayleigh's memorial service is tomorrow. Be praying for her family!

Stellan had some bouts of SVT last night and early this morning....remember him and his family.

Pray for Reagan to have a break from so many seizures!

Thursday evening

I'm writing this post late Thursday evening, so many of you may not see it until Friday. So when I say "tomorrow", it means Friday.

Please pray for Ashley, and stop by and leave some encouragement for her mama. It's been a rough week for them and sweet Ashley is in the hospital not doing well at all.

Beckham is in the hospital with some bleeding issues; he should be able to go home tomorrow, pray that everything goes well so he can!

Denise is having surgery tomorrow. Pray for protection for her and for the doctors.

Pray for Elise; she is having a car seat test done tomorrow to see if she is ready to go home, pray that she will pass; also pray for no more issues to come up so she can go home on Sunday!

Gaines is having some reflux issues; please pray for this to get better.

Please go to Baby Orner's blog and leave her some word of encouragement, and prayer, whatever you can offer. She just received devestating news about her pregnancy and the doctor's are telling her to terminate. She needs all the support we can give her right now! Please go love on her.

Charity is in the hospital again with some complications. Pray for her to have a quick recovery.

The R Baby Run/Walk was held on Sunday, Mother's Day. So far, $655,073.00 has been raised. Woot! The website says they are still accepting donations, so it's not too late to help out. I know this video post is a bit late since the walk already took place, but it brought tears to my eyes and I had to share, just in case the Lord prompts you to help today.

Maddie had two tests run today to see if she has relapsed...please pray while they are awaiting the results that everything will be great.

It is Mother's Day and maybe you don't feel like a mother. Maybe family and friends don't acknowledge your mother status, but I do. I know how it feels to have "angels" in Heaven, but no baby on earth. I remember the intense loneliness .... I remember the burden that Mother's Day brought. It seemed another reminder of what was missing in my life.

I used to avoid church on MD. If I did go I would sit with clenched teeth hoping and praying they wouldn't ask all the mothers to stand. I almost felt like an imposter if I stood up, but a betrayer if I remained seated. I usually ran to the bathroom instead of choosing between the impossible.

So, ladies on this Mother's Day 2009, I pay tribute to you ...

the mother with no living children,

the woman who has fought for motherhood, but has been unable to conceive,

the mom who has a baby on her hip, one in her belly and one forever in her heart,

and the mom who has several in Heaven, while wondering about the survival of the one in the womb ...


This day is for you. You ARE a mother.

Please pray for Philip...here is a small update from his mom:

"Next week he is facing a very serious operation that will change is life. We met with the Dr. today and were told that after 18 brain operations and a stroke, etc, we will need to travel to an out of state hospital as soon as he is healed enough from his operation next week. The operation next week will be on his stomach and spine and a Cather into his brain."
