Baby Logan made it through his heart surgery just fine, no complications!

Kayleigh's surgery had to be postponed yesterday; she developed some sort of infection. Please pray for her quick healing so they can go forward with the surgery.

Please continue to pray for Veiyah; she is still having stomach issues, and now they suspect she has a "brain issue" which is causing her eyes to cross and have suspected "seizures". Please pray for this little one!

Ashley needs extra prayers, she is still not doing well.

UPDATE: Logan is going in for surgery TODAY. They had a opening and it was scheduled for 1:00 pm this afternoon.




Please add Logan to your prayer focus this week. He is having heart surgery (the Glenn) on Tuesday, and is going through pre-op today. Cover him and his family!

PRAISE: Baby Jonah is going HOME today! Thank you Lord! He will still need prayers as the transition will be difficult, but he will be home with his mommy and daddy. Thank you, sweet Jesus.

The Eldredge family lost their 8 month old son, Sage, to SIDS.

Baby Stellan is not doing well at all today.

Baby Emily has a brain tumor, and it is not looking too good.

Miss Ella needs some extra prayers right now.

Isaiah is in a lot of pain; is doing better, but still needs extra prayers.

Jenny needs lots of prayers right now for a healthy pregnancy.

Precious Kayleigh is having surgery tomorrow at noon.

Little Veiyah is back in the hospital...severe dehydration.

You may already know of most of these, but just in case.......All of the others on the list need prayers, too, but these few need some extras right now! Let's keep bringing them before the Lord, and if you don't know what to pray for, pray in the Spirit.

Refiner's Fire

Malachi 3:3 says:
"He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver……"

This verse puzzled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.

One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group at their next Bible Study. That week, the woman called a silversmith and made an appointment to watch him at work. She didn't mention anything about the reason for her interest beyond her curiosity about the process of refining silver.

As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest to burn away all the impurities.
The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot; then she thought again about the verse that says:

"He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver….."

She asked the silversmith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The man answered that yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver, but he had to keep his eyes on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed.

The woman was silent for a moment. Then she asked the silversmith, "How do you know when the silver is fully refined?"

He smiled at her and answered, "Oh, that's easy -- when I see my image in it."

If today you are feeling the heat of the fire, remember that God has His eye on you and will keep watching you until He sees His image in you.

Baby Stellan

Please pray for baby Stellan....he is in the PICU with SVT...his heart rate is around 300 bpm and they cannot get it to slow down. Please please pray for this sweet baby and precious family!

Update on Cash and Mindy

Cash had his surgery yesterday. He made it through the surgery fine, but he has a lot of discomfort. He was pretty much unconsolable, which is normal. Please pray for his comfort and quick recovery.

Mindy went to the doctor and she got to hear her baby's heartbeat!! She is also feeling much better.

Cadence

Update on my little cousin: She has/had a rare virus, which the doctors say they only see once every few years. The prognosis was she may not be able to walk from the pain for up to six weeks, but as of yesterday, she is home and running around on her own! She is still very bruised, with a few new breakout spots, but is rapidly improving. Thank you for your prayers!!! I know that is why she is getting well so quickly.

The Tipping Family

Many prayers are needed for the Tipping family. All four of the babies were born and died this morning. Pray for grace, peace, and for Jesus to wrap them in His arms.

Update, and new request

Tipping family update: Baby B was born last night and didn't make it. Please pray for peace. The remaining four are still doing well and looking healthy. Pray for health and safety for these four precious ones!

Also, please pray for my little two year old cousin, Cadence. She was admitted to the hospital last night with a severe infection/virus. I don't have many details right now, other than the doctors aren't totally sure what it is. She is broke out all over her lower body with what look like bug bites, and she is bleeding under the skin. There is also lots of joint pain, so much that she cannot walk. They have her on morphine to help control the pain. Please keep her in your prayers.

Angel Andie Grace

Please, please pray for Andie Grace's family, she passed away in her mommy and daddy's arms today. Cover them with love and prayers!

The Tipping Family

Pray for this family - they are pregnant with sextuplets and lost one yesterday at 20 weeks and now a 2nd baby is attempting to deliver.

Please pray for these two families:

Mindy has colitis. She went in to have surgery for it (a surgery that would more than likely keep her from having anymore children). Her and her husband had been trying to have a baby for over a year. While they were prepping her for surgery the doctor came in and said they were unable to do the surgery because she was pregnant. She is at 11 weeks, and she is very sick. They put a port under her arm, so she can have fluids at home. It takes 4 hrs to drain a bag of fluids. She also has iron put in through IV, as well.

Baby Cash has to have surgery the week of March 23rd. He is 5 months old. His soft spots have fused together, which can cause brain damage and even death if it is not fixed. His surgery consists of cracking the skull and leaving some floating pieces to make room for his brain to grow. His mommy's name is Tracey.

The Bevins Family

Please pray for this precious family. They have lost two babies in the last couple of years and yesterday they brought home a sweet baby, Tess, who they were adopting and yesterday the birth mother changed her mind. I can't imagine what their feelings are right now; please lift them up!

Please pray for Evelyn's mommy and daddy. She went to be with the Lord Saturday evening. Lift them up in your prayers!

With the death of a baby, a couple shares the loss of their dreams and a precious part of themselves and their future.

Although the couple may feel very connected to each other in the first days and weeks after their baby's death, it is important for them to realize that grief is very personal and individual.

Even when a couple has been together for many years, they most likely will not grieve in the same way. Both partners are hurting, but because of different influences and expectations in their lives, they may be experiencing and showing grief in different ways.
